How to import pre-existing models into the composer and create exploded views with SOLIDWORKS composer?
What is SOLIDWORKS composer?
SOLIDWORKS Composer is a technical communication software that uses your existing CAD models to make animations, interactive PDFs, and more. Using this one can create a complete documentation of the project.
2D documentation can be made easy with SOLIDWORKS composer by creating animations, high-resolution images, detail views, Exploded views, etc.
- It supports below mentioned File formats.
- Import pre-existing models into the composer.
- Select the file and click open.
- Now the model was opened and ready for use.
- There are two views in the left pane, now we are going to create an exploded view from the default view. Using linear from the Transform ribbon we can create the explosions.
By selecting each actor we can move them to certain distance and finally create exploded view.
- By clicking on create view we can create the new view and edit its name to exploded view.
An exploded view is created using existing model.
